Overnight Oats

🥣 Basic Overnight Oats Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup milk (dairy or plant-based like almond, oat, soy)

  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt (optional, for creaminess and protein)

  • 1–2 tsp chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional, for fiber and thickness)

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1–2 tsp honey, maple syrup, or sweetener of choice

  • Toppings: fresh fruit (berries, banana, apple), nuts, nut butter, granola, cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Combine: In a jar or container, mix oats, milk, yogurt (if using), seeds, vanilla, and sweetener.

  2. Stir well: Make sure everything is combined thoroughly.

  3. Refrigerate: Cover and place in the fridge overnight (or at least 4 hours).

  4. Add toppings: In the morning, stir the oats and top with your favorite fruits, nuts, or extras.

  5. Enjoy cold or warm: Can be eaten straight from the fridge or warmed up briefly in the microwave.
